Shajar means tree in Urdu — and at the heart of this jacquard-like weave stands a tree of life, its branches sheltering birds, deer, lions, elephants, and rabbits, framed by ornate jharoka pavilions along the border. It’s a motif drawn from centuries of shawl-weaving tradition, where the tree of life stood for protection, abundance, and everything living in balance beneath it.

Woven fully reversible, each side shows the same intricate design in inverted tones — wear it one way for a deeper, richer look, flip it for something lighter and more muted. One stole, two moods, endless versatility.
Available in two colourways:

Pink Taupe — reversible between a warm mauveish-pink ground and a soft taupe ground
Ivory Gold — reversible between a soft ivory ground and a warm gold ground

Care

Your Mehr stole is made to be loved for many winters. A little care keeps it soft and beautiful.

Dry clean only. This protects the fabric and any embroidery or embellishment.
Store folded, in a cotton or muslin cloth. Avoid plastic covers, and don't hang it for long periods, as it can stretch.
Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and damp places.
Wear gently. Avoid rough jewellery, zips or velcro that can snag the threads or sequins.
If it gets a little wet, pat it dry with a soft cloth and let it air-dry flat in shade. Never wring it or use a hairdryer.
Fringe: if a thread loosens, trim it carefully instead of pulling.
