The shawl your mother draped over you on a cold morning without saying a word. The stole you wore on a day you needed to feel like yourself again. The gift you gave someone when you didn’t know how else to say you matter to me.

That is what we set out to create.

Mehr, is not just a name. Derived from a Persian and Sanskrit word, Mehr holds within it the meanings of grace, love, kindness, and trust. When we were building this brand, we weren’t just thinking about fabric. We were thinking about the moments that fabric lives inside. The quiet ones. The ones that stay with you.

Mehr By N&S was born from a simple belief — that what you wear can give you an identity. It can make you feel seen, respected, and celebrated for exactly who you are. It can carry gratitude from one person to another without a single word spoken. It can say I see you. I value you. I chose this for you! And in that way, it becomes more than a gift. It becomes a memory, an emotion.

We are rooted in the heartland of India’s textile tradition - Ludhiana, Punjab. Every piece we offer has been chosen by us personally. Held, felt, and loved before it ever reaches you. Because we believe you deserve nothing less.

We have grown slowly and deliberately — not because we had to, but because that is the only way to do something that truly means something.
