Shabnam means morning dew, and this stole is made of that moment.

Fine vines of leaves climb up from the ends, catching the light with tiny silver sparkles, as if the dew had just settled on them. A slim embroidered border runs along the open edge and frames you softly when you wear it.

It comes in two moods:

Midnight Navy is deep and quiet, with silver-white leaves and a sequin-lined border. Wear it for evenings, weddings and festive nights, over velvet, silk or a simple black outfit.

Morning Mist is a soft heathered grey, with slate-blue leaves and silver sparkle. It's gentle, easy to wear, and goes with everything from your daily kurta to a camel coat.

Pick whichever matches the way you like to be seen: glowing at night, or calm in the morning.

Care

Your Mehr stole is made to be loved for many winters. A little care keeps it soft and beautiful.

  • Dry clean only. This protects the fabric and any embroidery or embellishment.
  • Store folded, in a cotton or muslin cloth. Avoid plastic covers, and don't hang it for long periods, as it can stretch.
  • Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and damp places.
  • Wear gently. Avoid rough jewellery, zips or velcro that can snag the threads or sequins.
  • If it gets a little wet, pat it dry with a soft cloth and let it air-dry flat in shade. Never wring it or use a hairdryer.
  • Fringe: if a thread loosens, trim it carefully instead of pulling.
