The Bahaar Stole is Mehr’s most intricate piece — a fine wool canvas carrying a hand-embroidered bouquet of chrysanthemums and botanical branches, rendered in silver sequins, dark seed beads, and metallic thread. Each flower built petal by petal. Each branch traced bead by bead.

Styling

Bahaar means spring, so wear it whenever you want a little bloom in winter.

Purple: Over black, cream or grey for evenings. The embroidery glints against the deep colour.

Off-white: Over pastels or one rich shade like wine, bottle green or navy, so the florals stand out.

Blush pink: Over ivory, beige or soft grey for weddings and day functions, or over denim for a gentle everyday look.

Black: Over black kurtas, dresses or a saree for evenings that need no other jewellery.

Wear it: Draped open over both shoulders, with the embroidered end falling in front. Keep the rest of the outfit simple so the bouquet is the focus. Care

Your Mehr stole is made to be loved for many winters. A little care keeps it soft and beautiful.

Dry clean only. This protects the fabric and any embroidery or embellishment.
Store folded, in a cotton or muslin cloth. Avoid plastic covers, and don't hang it for long periods, as it can stretch.
Keep away from perfume, direct sunlight and damp places.
Wear gently. Avoid rough jewellery, zips or velcro that can snag the threads or sequins.
If it gets a little wet, pat it dry with a soft cloth and let it air-dry flat in shade. Never wring it or use a hairdryer.
Fringe: if a thread loosens, trim it carefully instead of pulling.
